Topic: Psalm 119:105-112
I will never win any rewards for navigation, and I don't have a built-in compass like my husband. I jokingly refer to myself as directionally challenged. I have absolutely no ability to sense which direction I am going. However, I can follow him or her with little hestitation. I can look at a map and decipher the best route to take. As long as I have a guide, my chances of getting lost diminish greatly.
God's Word is our ultimate road map. He knows every highway we will travel and every wrong turn we will take. If we stay lost in His Word, we will always travel the right direction in life. No matter what dark alleys we find ourselves facing, we can turn on the lamp of His Word and find our way back to the straight and narrow road.
When you find yourself wandering aimlessly about, take time to read your road map. Let God's Word direct your paths and light your way.
Lord, thank You for showing me the Way.
